Project overview
Conder was approached by our client Drainstore and the Adventure Holiday company, who were already familiar with the SAF system from another scheme. The initial brief was to propose a suitable system for the new Adventure Holiday Hotel and location was highlighted as key to the scheme.
Having visited the site and selected the most suitable system for the project and site requirements, the Conder SAF200N20, Conder suggested that the best location would be to install the plant on the side of an existing embankment and fill up around the plant. This fitted well with the client's requirements and the scheme was designed to include a two tank system suitable for granular backfill to accommodate the preferred location.
The client's own installation team designed a stone filled gabion system which was utilised as the restraint to the tank backfill and the scheme was successfully completed late 2011 and commissioned in January 2012. The scheme is a great example of the flexibility of the Conder design and Conder's belief if offering/developing for clients the best possible solution.
