Design Draughtsman
Conder Solutions Ltd is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of packaged water & wastewater treatment products. Conder offers the largest range of GRP contained products in the UK market and is also successfully developing its export markets. The development of existing and new products is fundamental to Conder’s strategy to maintain sustainable growth and profitability. As part of the engineering team tasked with designing, developing and drawing standard and bespoke products, there is a requirement to recruit a draftsman to the team.
The Design Draughtsman will report to the Engineering Manager.
Job Purpose
Production of technical drawings and documentation
Responsibilities / Task
- Production of sales and manufacturing drawings / Generation of solid models and engineering drawings from information supplied by project engineers.
- Construction of bills of material.
- Production of technical specifications for subsequent purchasing
- Maintenance of Drawing Office records, including the Suppliers Library
- Liaison with customers, collaborators, contractors and suppliers as required.
- Supplying information to customers and collaborators in the relevant format in a concise and timely manner.
- Participation in design reviews.
- Participation in cost build-up developments.
Skills / Experience Required
- Engineering qualification and/or background
- 2 to 3 years draughting experience using AutoCAD and/or Inventor 3D
- Ability to provide clear and concise drawings for the Production Team.
- Aware of Quality Systems and safe design practice. Adherence to, working instructions and procedures in accordance with the Company’s Quality Assurance policy.
- Worked within medium/small engineering businesses
- Computer literate (MS Excel/Word predominantly, CAD ideally)

Proposals Engineer
Conder Environmental Solutions, a leader in the design and manufacture of liquid storage, separation and wastewater treatment solutions, is looking for a Proposals Engineer to join its expanding Technical Solutions division.
Based at our Southern Sales / Technical Office in Farnborough, Hampshire, the role will involve the preparation of proposal responses for submission to our customers. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for the technical and commercial aspects of proposals. This will include working closely with our internal and external sales teams and liaising with clients.
The successful candidate should ideally hold an engineering/science HND/degree and have an understanding of the water/environment sector. You should be commercially astute with good IT skills. Recent graduates and those with a number of years experience in a similar role are encouraged to apply.

Conder Solutions Ltd is pleased to announce a vacancy for a permanent position within their Internal Sales department.
The successful applicant will be working as part of a dedicated sales team in a busy environment dealing with a high level of incoming enquiries and orders relating to our specialised product range. Duties will include maintaining and developing existing customers, following up sales leads and quotations, communicating and co-ordinating with the external sales team, providing product range information to customers and working to sales targets.
The successful candidate should have sales experience, excellent telephone manner and be able to work well as part of a team.
Product knowledge is an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
Salary - £14-16k (+ Potential sales based bonus)
Working hours – 40 hours per week
Holidays – 25 days
